About Counselling
Counselling means different things to different people but in essence, it is a ’talking therapy’. By talking in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space, a person is able to explore whatever issue brought them to therapy and in doing so, they are able to consider their thoughts and feelings in a greater depth than maybe have been possible elsewhere.
It can be hard to talk about your feelings. If you agree and it is of interest to you, I also use Creative Therapy to help you. You don’t need to be an artist but using images and colour rather than words can be very powerful and can sometimes be easier than trying to find words.
